Do I have to pay tax/NI for a small start up business before i make any money from it?

I have recently started advertising for prospective clients via the internet. My business is a small sole trader business which i will be registering within the stipulated 3 month period.

I just want to know - If i register do i have to pay a certain tax or national insurance regardless of whether im making any money or not?

Why am I having brief "brain freeze" or "ice cream freeze" sensations?

Most of us know what that feels like, but what if it happens when you're not eating anything cold, and just sitting somewhere minding your own business? This started two days ago. It happens in just a small area of my forehead, only on the left side. It never lasts more than 3 - 5 seconds, but happens at least a couple of times per hour. It has me concerned. I also wonder if it's related to the other left side pain I've been having for a couple of weeks. It goes from my hip all the way down my leg, and is the most intense pain I've ever felt, getting worse over the course of the day. I literally get to the point of not being able to walk very suddenly (not good when you're in a department store with your teenager, and have to plop down on the floor because you can't make another step). I'm seeing a chiropractor for the first time tomorrow, because the pain diminishes greatly when I sit down or bend over forward (also not pleasant for the teen when you walk like an ape through the store cuz that's the only way you can make it outta there).

Obama did not Ban Bp drilling. Bp is one of his largest contributors. Bp had another explosion, and another oil spill while drilling only 4 days ago, and obama and the fed helped them to cover it up. Drilling is going on in double time. You obviously have not been around the gulf coast beaches recently. The tourists have been replaced with oil workers, and military.

You should take a statistics class, and stop being fooled around by politicans with silly numbers about census workers. Yes: The cash for clunkers program was kind of stupid. We need to stop burning oil, and insuring bad drivers, and suspending good ones, but it's not going to happen, and the c4c program was only a small one to demonstrate how the big ones are going to work, and that they have our (the people') support, and you guys (repubs) can go take advantage of them and hopefully join the americans in our effort to own and operate our own country.

Is this bullying? How can I help my friend?

I have a very good friend, but we do not go to the same school. Recently, she has been telling me all this bad stuff about what people do to her at her school.

She started at this school in May, and she's in Year 7. She has been bullied before, as well. In the first couple of weeks, my friend was bullied - this girl who, as my friend says, has changed since then and is better now, said that my friend reminded her of a witch, that she looked like a witch and such. So, my friend, let's call her "Grace", became best friends with this other girl, and let's name her "Rachel". Rachel and Grace were both very quiet until one girl, who I will call "Felicity", came in and started hanging out with them. She took Rachel away from Grace and the whole friendship group has become very close except for Grace. She is not included in a lot and often feels left out. Because Grace is very smart for her age (12), she was arguing with them, on how she felt, and used very big words. Later, she was accused of trying to make the other girl's feel small by using big words that they didn't understand. Grace was accused of being judgemental because Felicity got her belly button pierced and has gone out with 15 guys in one year (Felicity is 13). Grace didn't do anything but explain how she did not want to get her belly pierced. Rachel has turned against her and the other day, Grace was trying to join in a conversation and when she did, they looked at her like she was crazy and they said to Grace that was she said was retarded, which was very mean. Felicity has been very negative to Grace, telling Grace that her new haircut looked "fat" on her, and telling Grace to "grow up" and to "suck shit". She's been lying about Grace and USING Grace as a personal psychologist. She called Grace "dumb" when Grace was in hospital with appendicitis. Felicity also said that this other girl, Taylor, said she was some "short fatty who wanted to know how to skate", which turned out to be false. I am a lot older than Grace, but i do not like how this girl is treating her. Grace is not my friend's real name, mind you. Today, this girl, Marli, was handing out lollies but excluded Grace in the process. What I find mean is that Rachel said she didn't like Felicity, but is now her best friend, ditching Grace. They never wait for Grace at the lockers or out to recess, they never include her in their conversation. In fact, this is what they say when Grace asks what they are talking about: "Grace, why do you have to ask about EVERYTHING? It's really none of your business". One time, they were laughing about something, Grace asked what it was, then what happened was that they were laughing at a photo of Grace, where she looked unflattering in, and they put the photo on Facebook, refusing to take it down. They beg for money from Grace and when Grace went to the mall with Felicity, Felicity made Grace spend $60 on her. Grace has been very stern with them, telling them that she doesn't appreciate them excluding her and leaving her out, but they never listen and accuse her of 'victimizing' them, which again, is a word they learned of Grace herself. When Grace tells Felicity things that make Grace sad, Felicity just laughs, which is mean. There is a lot more as well.

I work while the post office is open and this makes it difficult to run my small time business. In the past I have purchased pre-paid 500g parcels but now I want to give my customers an option of registered post with insurance and tracking. Is there a way I can send a registered parcel without visiting a branch? Like maybe using a special parcel I can just drop in the red post box on the way to work. Please submit a link if you can. What would you do? Its a long story, so please bare with me. Just recently I got a facebook account. I added my Son right away than later his girlfriend Barbie wanted to join onto my account too. Well she made a comment to me about my son and his feelings on something and I elaborated on it telling her a little bit about our family and we discussed the recent death of his Aunt because she brought up the death of her father. Maybe I went too much into it,the family, but you see I have known this girl sence she was a child. My Son got angry and we exchanged words because she was annoyed with me about talking to her about our family business ( my son's business). And I was only eaborating on subjects she brought up. So my son and I had words because he was being very disrespectful to my as a Son and of course I got mad back. I told him that both he and his girlfriend were acting like children. He said then that I could call him that but if I were to call his girlfriend a child again he wouldn't ever talk to me again. Well I did. And now he isn't talking to me. This is a boy who although on his own has come to me for money. Last week I bought him a new pair of glasses. I love my child and would do anything for him. We live in different states and I thought facebook would help us to communicate better. Once again his girl added me. How to solve this problem.? I know i'm partly in the wrong, but my son was very disrespectful to me, and is making nothing out of a small conversation on facebook I had with his girl(one I barely recall) I already told them I may be dropping it.

Bookkepping question...Do you treat Paypal same as a bank account?

Ok, lets say you have a small business like a llc. You can't afford a merchant account but you have a paypal business account. Most clients pay with Paypal. Your company also has a Business checking account which rarely gets a client check in there. Can you transfer all paypal earnings into the Business checking account and leave money there to pay bills, taxes, buy equipment and also withdraw money for yourself (owners draw) ?

Or would be better to treat paypal same as bank and instead of a "payment processor" and don't transfer all earnings to the Business Checking account, and withdraw money directly into your personal banking acc (owners draw), and if you need to buy something for the company, then buy with Paypal???

sorry if sounds confusing...Is because I always hear people saying, always transfer all your earnings to a bank account...never leave money there.
