For a newly graduated college student with a Bachelor's Degree of Business and a ton of marketing and sales experience? I'm gathering information on local companies to research. Please list why you would recommend a certain company.

A lady I worked with signed a promissory note to help me get a car.I found out her son (he her power of attorney )had the car towed on 7-20-2010, same day did a title transfer then tagged it under his business company name.I still have the original title,bill of sale,and only a copy of the original promissory papers.How did he get a title transfer and how do I get a copy of the bill of sale or title transfer from the lady that sold him the car? The wrecker service is refusing to give me a paper that shows on what grounds they were told to have it towed, (off of private property mind u ) and why they released it to him when he only had a title transfer and a notorized bill of sale? I did file a small claims case against the lady I worked with.But now the car is in her sons name! I have a attorney on the case but he wants me to walk away from it all.He say it is as complicaid as a $100,ooo.oo case against a corporation lawsuite.I dont understand why I cant subponia the wrecker service and this lady son.ANY serious advice? I want my car back,compensary damages paid,from them to pay all lawyers fees,and court cost! I feel I am not asking too much.But Why do I have more guts than my lawyer,to take this case to court?
Its the time frame I need to expound on.7-7-10 a promissory note use signed by me and a woman I call JA.A friend( now ex-friend) signed the orginal title,and bill of sale over to me.I called and legally I had 30 days to tag and title it in my name.My first payment wasnt due till 7-23-10.But on 7-20-10JA's son had it towed then drove to my ex friends house.She did a title transfer with JA's son.He drove back tagged and titled it under his business company name.On 7-24-10i called the wrecker to get my tag to my old car back ,said to give them 5 mins. and call back.But they called me and if I want my old car tag out of the new car,I had to turn over the keys to the new car,which blackmail.Isnt it?I still have all the orginal paperwork.So whats left to question?

I am wary there is a scam. I think it is.

I was sent a cashiers check for 2,000. I listed a binocular for sale asking $100. I received email with instructions also a check for $2000. I am supposed to:

A. deposit the cashiers check which I will call the bank in Texas tomorrow to verify its validity.

B. deposit the check into my checking. Wait 3 business days until it clears.

C. take my payment of $100, add my $30 USD shipping cost for the binocular and my Western Union cost then use Western Union to send to a name and address in the U.K. for the unused remainder of the amont on the cashiers check.That UK person is supposed to do a pick-up of the binocular and ship it to the bidder in UK.

Sounds like a scam. Or is it possible this alright? The Texas bank is closed until Tuesday for the holiday. I will verify the worth of the 'cashier's check' then.

A friend of mine had a scam just like this. The check he deposited was no good.

Hello there!
I am working in a hotel in San Francisco as a Sales trainee with a J-1 visa, (official description of the visa program is Agriculture; hospitalty and tourism NTE).

Accounting/HR department are not sure what percent of my income going to be withheld from my paycheck.

In addition to this, yesterday a girl from accounting/HR department came to me and told me that they have to withhold another $110 per pay period which is semimonthly. And they asked me for filing this amount in the 'additional withheld' (row 6) on the W4 form with regards to this information on the link : Click Here

Besides I am not sure how much is going to be withheld from my paycheck, I am really worried about this issue since this uncertainity is affecting all my plans throughout the year.

Undertaker vs John Cena at Wrestlemania 27 - DO IT!?

I've always been of the opinion that Taker vs Cena will not happen at Mania, just like Taker vs Austin and Taker vs Rock didn't. Why? Because each generation/ era of the company needs some faces and some backbones. Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, HHH, they are like the backbones of the company. You can't do good matches and feuds without them and they are required to push/ elevate other talent. Their longevity with the company speaks for it, as to why they are cornerstones. The faces keep changing with each era, like you had Hogan in the golden era, Austin/ Rock in the attitude era, and now you have Cena in the PG era (yuck).

Its a different thing when you lose a match to somebody else at Mania and when you lose to the Undertaker. No doubt, your name is written in history - that's the positive part. But having Austin or Rock listed up there in Taker's streak as a victim, and have that name announced in the list every year when Taker's Mania promo runs, would've hurt their reputation as top faces. The same would hold true for Cena right now. The kids would stop believing in him, the T shirts and merchandize sales would go low, because in all fairness and probability, we know that the Undertaker's Wrestlemania streak is the greatest record in the history of pro-wrestling and it can never be re-created, therefore NO superstar (young or old, big or small) deserves to end it.

But how nice it would be for us veteran fans, if the match actually happened and Cena gets the cr*p kicked out of him, and the kids realize once and for all how over-rated he is and who the greatest superstar actually is. It won't be a good technical wrestling match (which Jericho might give) because Cena can't wrestle for nuts, but it would be great to see his a** kicked.

Anyone else feels that this match would help in improving the perception of the kids about wrestling ;-) ? Of course, it would hurt the business because its the PG era and so Cena should be the hero. That's probably why it would never happen.

I think this might be a scam?

Hello,

So my house was supposedly at auction, but the house sale was supposed to be stopped. The lender made sure it would not go onto the auction block. Today, we received a letter from someone representing a business that I've never heard of. They didn't mention the occupants, they only said the address. This letter states that we must leave the premises. From what I recall, it has to be a letter from the sheriff or from the city. I did a search on this person and the business and nothing comes up. I checked BBB and it doesn't recognize it.

What do y'all think? I don't want to lose my house! (Snarky remarks will be reported)

Oh and on top of this, the person used an A.k.a with her real name. I think this might be some scammer.
To My Take on it: Yes we're doing a loan modification with our lender.
To Sean: Yes, the letterhead is from an individual who claims to represent a business. I think I will be consulting a Real Estate Lawyer and reporting this to the FTC and any other authority.
Quincee: I have a name and their number. They sent a letter, they did not come to my door. I'm taking care of this tomorrow (as in Thursday). They used a P.O. Box for the address but I have the phone number.
pmuzzy: Thank you, yes there was no legal documents. Only documents from some website that anyone can really print out. No name as far as occupants, and for the sheriff sale. We did not receive a notice from the county stating of any kind or from our mortgage lender.

Thank you, I will be consulting a RE lawyer, and contact my Attorney General's office.

Help on a basic business phone system?

I have been trying to do some research on getting a phone package/system for my needs, but the internet sites I have been using are going over my head, so thought I'd try and get advice here. Our situation is:
We have a small business/shop. There are only three people that work in the business. We have one phone line which deals with our main number, and another which handles the fax and card machine. We have the phone number printed on all business stationery, and i am concious that when this phone is engaged, we could be missing out on sales (we have an answerphone, but I'm sure a large % of people won't leave messages)

So... is there a cost effective way of attaching another phone to this one line, and one phone number, so that it can be used on two different conversations at the same time?

Any help would be appreciated!

I' so lost in my situation I have no idea what to do. My therapist gave up on me and I don't want her pills. I lost my job. My husband is trying to sale our home but no one is buying it and we can't afford it anymore because his job cut back and my job let alot of people go. I'm upside down on my car that is broken down. It needs a new engine and we can't afford that. I owe 8,455 on my loan and I can't get a job because we can't afford to fix the car. I can't sale it because it's upside down. I can't share our other car with my husband because he works 70 hours a week and more to pay all our bills and both our credit is maxed out. We can't take out anymore loans and we don't have any friends or family well off enough financialy to help us. Our home isn't selling and it's worth 170k. Our agent said we have gone as low as possible on the asking price. My husband is stressing so much as he is stuggling to pay all the bills and I feel like a piece of shit for not being able to help. The broken down car that is upside down on the loan sits in my garage. It was estimated to cost 3,500 to fix it and we have no way of paying for that. And my monthly payments are 457.33 a month. There are no businesses within walking distance for me to get a job. There are no buses or taxis out here. I have no idea what to do and I've been thinking about suicide more and more everyday. I know that is a horrible way to think but as we fall deeper into trouble with no answers I seriously don't know why I should stay breathing. If anyone has any advice PLEASE PLEASE tell me. Anything! I'm so desporate for a ray of light.
