Question #1:

I am a marketing partner for a pvt ltd company but I am confused interms of payments to employees?

Hi guys, I have just entered a contract or a partnership with one education based company but into the marketing division where I have to hire few business development executives under me and pay them salaries. I can hire people for training them and ofcourse product knowledge will be taken care for their marketing. But about their pay structure, I have planned it in such a way:
First three months stipend of Rs3000
then based on performance will place them in 3 levels
level 1 : Rs 6000 + Petrol expenses(1000k limit) + Food allowance + D.A
level 2 : Rs 8000 + others
level 3 : Rs 10000 + others

According to contract only if I sign MOU with college Ill be given 40% out of profit again based on many parameters. I can say per college a min of 30K upto 2lakhs is what Ill get. So I must be very careful interms of guiding them to perform good and sign a good number of colleges. This is just my first project If I do well I'll get 3 more such projects, which include school, consultancy and web portals

Since Ive just entered the contract I will be looking to employee only 3 BDE's then based on market and the profit will go for more numbers and promotions for them. So entrepreneur's who have their own organizations or handling marketing division help me out, Im a starter with the payment process I have exp in marketing but this is different help me out plz...

Question #2:

.TK websites won't open right?

Every time I go to ANY .tk website, it shows bunches of links about business. A friend tried to show me a .tk about funny animals or something but what showed up on my computer was the same as every .tk site.

"_______ portal is your gateway to sites for business, travel, shopping, and more! Browse our resources or just try the search!" as the title.

Then under that was
Finance

* Debt
* Credit Card
* Insurance
* Investment
* Tax

Electronics

* DVD Rental
* Mobile Phones
* Digital Cameras
* Telephones
* PDAs

and crap like that!

HOW DO YOU FIX IT?!

Question #3:

Why is there no control on the Internet over the spreading of hatred?

The Internet is saturated with hate messages, all of course triggering more hatred on the other side.

What I do not really understand is how for example Jewish inventions or managed sites, such as Facebook or Google, and thus also YouTube, or also partly jewish institutions such as Yahoo do not filter or block messages along the lines of "kill all the jews" and so.

If I were jewish I would definitely want my portal to at least filter this.

Why is that? Why do they just let things go? Is it to accumulate more information, or better monitor tendencies and thus be better prepared? Is it to the West's advantage that people use portals in english that are under western control, rather than missing out on all the information?

Or are the most important Internet portals merely 100% business minded and do owners make a clear divide between their own background/religion and their product?

What do you think?
No Nando, it isn't. It's really easy in fact, a matter of a few simple functionalities.
Yes, Mrs C, but Google or Facebook or YouTube are not managed by muslims or gays or other orientation. I put it this way since this is Yahoo and it surprises me of them.
Hi John, that is not true. Your networks are permanently filtered, and inciting others to kill is not considered freedom of speech in the US either.
Hi Mrs C, of course not, but i'm not talking employees, i'm talking owners and top decision makers. At google and facebook they are jewish, at yahoo christian and jewish, at the other top 10 websites usually from (ex-) christian background.
Nando, haha, do you have time for a 300 page document? I know a tad about this since I work in online marketing.

Question #4:

Should I get an assumed name if my name is close to another businesses?

Hi All,

Quick question: I'm thinking about naming my company Bite Sized Games. I thought that was pretty clever.There's no studio named that explicitly. However.. There is a company called the BBC which has a brand called BiteSized. As far as I see, it's a portal for many things (including games)

The fact is that it's over in Europe, and I'm in America. They also do more than just games. Am I playing with fire if I proceed? Am I too close to infringing?

Question #5:

how do i serve a defendant if i cant find him?

I have a defendant with an extremely common last night. I am trying to serve him to take him to small claims court. His agent of process for his corporation (listed on the California business portal) is at an address that has been abandoned. An internet search comes up with thousands of hits for this name.
My question is 1) How do i properly serve this person
2) Why is it the plantiffs responsibility to chase the plantiff down? My responsibility should be only to serve his agent of service address

Question #6:

Ladies Only Survey ~ At what precious age did you lose your?

WHAT AGE: _________

Hotty Poll: a) Pink & white bikini >or< b) A rainbow thong?

Question #7:

is this the norm..with business operations?

i went to best buys to repair my computer and i was informed 350.00 to repair. i was not thrilled about this. someone in line said it sounded like two pins in the front portal were touching and he moved the pins alittle with his keys. he said that should do it. it did and computer is working fine. i think i was being taken advantage of. a neighbor who is 93 years old paid 1,500 dollars to fix her sliding door. she said he sprayed something from a can..sounds like silicone spray. is taking advantage of people the norm with people running a business. my mom went to toyota and they said she needed a 2,00 dollar tuneup and winter something...a neighbor said the car was fine and only needed antifreeze.i just dont trust jack s&%t anymore.

Question #8:

Is there any hardware requirement assessment tool for a web-based company?

I am wondering if there are any tools available online that can provide us with rough estimates on the number of servers(web servers, database servers, storage) that is needed to smoothly operate a web-based company? I have looked at server hardwares and they range greatly in prices from 2000 to 12000 to even more. But none of them exactly tell me the load that they can handle. They are categorized as Small Business, Medium and Large Business.

I am interested in knowing something like for example:

A million people visiting my web portal in a day, running 100 million database queries in a day and each accessing about 10-15MBs of content etc etc.

then exactly what size of server farm do I need. Maybe a tool that can ask me these type of questions and based on my input, provide with some estimates?

Is this kind of information only available when you talk to hardware vendors? Wouldn't they try to sell more than I need when I find out that I have no clue?

Question #9:

Can I buy the domain of Ford.net and use the domain as a business portal?

My concern is I want to buy a domain like this and use it to make money. Can I do that? Or can I at least put a blog on the domain and earn money from advertising?

Thanks for the help in advance.

Question #11:

Which website idea should I pick?

I want to start an online company over the summer. My goal is to eventually make six or more figures a year. I have many ideas, but I'm not sure which one is more profitable. I can easily get all of the scripts to make my website ideas, since I'm an expert at coding and programming.

1. A website where users can list, buy, sell, auction, or trade websites and/or domains. Sign up would be free. Once the site gets a good reputation, I would then charge a small fee to list a website just so that the scammers would not want to post a scam. After a successful sale has been made, I would charge a small fee. The seller would be able to post a snapshot of the website, info, and the starting price for an auction and/or buy now price. There is some competition such as flippa.com, but hey, competition could be a good thing. If I can do something better than flippa, by either lowering fees, or adding features, people would want to come to my site. I would also sell ad space on the website. This idea is great because people are into the web flipping business, and many people want to run their own website in hard times like this.

2. A job website. I know, you think monster.com, but just read this please. Yes, it would be like monster.com. Employers and people wanting a job could sign up for free. At first, I would not charge anything to post a job opening to get many listings up on the site, but once the site gets going, I would then charge a small fee to employers to list the job that is open at their company. People wanting jobs have cool features such as a resume creator. They would then be able to find a job they like, post their resume, and the employer would be able to select anyone he wants for the job. I would also sell ad space on the site. Although sites like this exist such as monster, just like in the previous idea, if I can do something better than monster, i would get more visitors. This is a great idea since many people are looking for jobs now a days. They want an easy solution to get hired.

3. This next idea is a pay pal type of site. I know you are thinking that all of my ideas already exist, but listen, almost every idea in the world already has more than one person doing them. Think, pay pal was first, then came virtualgold and epay which were copies of pay pal, but now are making 5k a day! Even if an idea already exists, you can still do it if you make your site better in some way. So the site would allow users to sign up for an account using a credit card, and would be able to pay using their account. I would first have to gain peoples trust using the site so they will be willing to give up their credit card info to use. The basic idea is virtual money.

4. This site would be a image hosting site. Sort of like imageshack. Users would be able to upload their photos to a secure server, and store the photos. If they are out of town and they need a photo for let's say a job offer,they can log into their account on the site, and access any photo. I would have a free upload where users can store x gb of photos for free, and i would also have larger plans which cost fees. Once photos are uploaded, they could be edited with the photo editor, sent to family and friends, or stored. Photo storage is a great thing since if a hard drive crashes, house fire, or something happens to your photos, you will have a backup on the site and your memories will be safe. I would also sell ad space on the website.

5. This would be a website for questions and answers. It would be just like this site, except it would have multimedia questions by video and or audio. I'm not a huge fan of this idea since YouTube is the leader and so is yahoo answers, but it's an idea. I would sell ad space.

6. My last idea would be a real estate portal where buyers, sellers, and agents, could sign up for free and sellers could post their house for sale or rent on the site for a fee. I would also sell ad space.

Overall, I love the job site, marketplace for websites, virtual money, and the photo hosting site. I am not sure which idea out of all of the ideas could be the most profitable. I know someone is going to say that I need to have something unique, but I'm just trying to find out which idea out of these is most profitable. Even if you don't like these ideas, which would you choose if you had too?

Thanks so much!

And ps,
The reason why vie asked questions like these many times is because I just want to get a site and start the company.

Thanks.

Question #18:

Should I use Windows Vista or Windows XP?

My father owns an orthodontics business, and there are a bunch of computers at his office. While I was looking through some of his old discs, I cam upon a Windows Vista installation disc, and I asked my dad if I could have it, and he said yes. I use Windows XP, and I do a moderate amount of gaming (Half Life 2, Quake 4, Portal, and some older games). I had a spare hard drive lying around, so I swapped my usual HD with the spare, and I installed Vista. So far, I like it. Should I keep using, and forget about XP, or re swap my usual HD and forget about Vista. I have a Pentium 4 3Ghz and 2GB of RAM. I also have a Radeon HD 4650 graphics card. I do a good amount of gaming, and plan to get some more computer intesive games.
