I understand what you are saying but many just do not consider. If you impose taxation on an industry, that industry will just pass on the money loss to the customer.
If you tax them more they will raise the price on their goods or services and the consumer will be the one who pays it anyway.
Now that isnt to say there cant be a balance that we can all live with. and some of them do pull some stunts to avoid taxes and costs. obviously if its a particular corporation you can just not buy from them.
